FOUR men escaped from a crash after a car smashed into the side of a house in Little Hulton.
The incident happened at 2.25am on Saturday morning when a blue G-reg Volkswagen Golf collided with a fence and a Vauxhall Corsa that was parked on a driveway on Worsely Road.
The driver of the Golf lost control of the vehicle and shunted the parked car into the house damaging brickwork near the front door.
The Golf landed on its side and was left lying across the fence that separates the damaged house from the neighbouring property.
The men in the car, that had previously travelled down Waverley Avenue, got out of the car and fled the scene.
A building inspector is expected to visit the house today to assess the extent of the damage.
