A FRIGHTENED woman locked herself in the bedroom and phoned the police after her husband had slapped her and started to smash the house up, a court heard.
Michael Barlow, aged 33, of Chapelfield, Radcliffe, appeared before Bury magistrates where he admitted common assault on Sarah Barlow.
He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and waived costs and compensation.
