SKIMMERS, roach and perch on the pole were the main quarry in Royal Ashton AC's Saturday Open on Rumworth Reservoir's channel.
Graham Hallows had a decent bag of 16lbs-8ozs. to win the match. Second was Roland Stansfield with 11lbs-4ozs, and third was Mick Whelan 6lbs-11ozs.
The following day the club held a pairs match, both in the channel, and on the main lake of Rumworth.
Martin Thompson and Tony Seamark won with three points, Gordon Hardman and Alan Turner were second with nine points and third were Dave Dobson and Stan Shaw with 10 points each.
Dave Dobson had the best weight from the channel with 18lbs-8ozs on the pole, and the main lake's best weight was Martin Thompson's 16lbs-2ozs.
