THE Lowry is making a "something for everyone " claim for its new autumn and winter season.
It is certainly offering a catholic mix in its galleries and theatres.
More than 70 shows will be on offer in the theatres ranging from opera to top-class drama.
The theatre season opens on September 6 with the classic thriller Dial M for Murder starring Brookside's Steven Pinder and Judy Brock of The Bill and Peak Practice.
Following a successful run at the Lowry last year, The Play What I Wrote opens on October 4.
In November the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the Touring Consortium stages Arthur Miller's The Crucible.
The West End's surprise comedy hit of the year - Round the Horne...Revisited - gets another airing in December. Also for Christmas is the family favourite The Wizard of Oz.
