A RELIGIOUS studies teacher accused of molesting a schoolgirl faces a retrial after his court case was stopped yesterday.
Inayat Patel, aged 29, bailed to an address in Headingley Way, Bolton, had been on trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
But the trial was halted today after new evidence was produced. A retrial will be held on November 29.
Patel, of Plashet Road, Plaistow, east London, denied six charges of indecent assault on a child between July 27, 2003, and January 27 this year.
