A BRIDE and groom whose wedding is in the TV spotlight have had a taste of what will be served up at their reception.

Bolton barber Darren Foster, aged 31, who lives in Radcliffe, and his 23-year-old fiancee Sam Lilley, from Hollins, Bury, were selected to be the couple to feature in GMTV's wedding of the year on September 3.

Every week viewers are voting on different aspects of the wedding.

The dress, the groom's outfit and the wedding venue of Cyprus have already been chosen by viewers of the ITV breakfast show.

This week it is the turn of the wedding breakfast.

Viewers are voting on three menus:

Option A is the Byzantine menu of asparagus tips followed by fillet of beef with Madeira sauce and a mousse laced with Drambuie; Option B is the Island menu consisting of smoked Cyprus ham with melon and pears with medallion of pork fillet flamb and rose petal ice cream; Option C is the English menu and consists of smoked trout garnished with onion rings with sauted chicken and rissole potatoes followed by strawberry tart with vanilla ice cream.

All three menus have been selected by wedding planner Siobhan Craven Robins.

Viewers will vote tomorrow morning from 7am to 12 noon. The winning menu will be announced tomorrow.
