VANDALS are being blamed for a small fire which damaged the door of St James' Church on Roscow Avenue, Breightmet.
Firefighters were called to St James' Church on Roscow Avenue at around 4.50pm yesterday.
It is believed children had placed a pile of rubbish at the door of the church, which was set alight before the flames spread to the door.
