WANDERERS chairman, Phil Gartside, is one of the 13 men who will sit in judgment of England coach, Sven Goran Eriksson, next week.

The Reebok chief, recently appointed to the powerful Football Association board, is abroad on business but is due back for an emergency meeting next Thursday to discuss the recent events that have put Eriksson's personal life under scrutiny.

The FA have appointed an independent lawyer to investigate claims they were given misleading information concerning an affair Eriksson had with a staff secretary. If the board rule that Eriksson lied or misled them, he could face losing his job.
