AN ELDERLY man was treated for the effects of smoke after a pan of food caught fire at a town centre residential home.
Firefighters were called to St George's Court, in Topp Way, Bolton, at around 6.20pm yesterday evening.
The man was treated at the scene, but declined further hospital treatment.
