THE comments made by M Todd are absolutely disgusting.
The pigeons are not flying rats or parasites and should not be culled.
The pigeons are beautiful birds and do not do anyone any harm.
They should have been left alone in their own habitat in Bolton as they made the town hall square their home since the town hall was built 131 years ago. They have been a pleasure to watch and feed. It was cruel for the council to get rid of them and they had no right to threaten people with threats of fines regarding feeding them. The town hall square is miserable now as they were an asset to the town. The situation is very upsetting, as there are very few pigeons now which has made many people very sad.
However, the threats made by the council do not bother my friends and myself as we will continue feeding the few pigeons that are still there.
