PLANS for two new shops in Kearsley have been rejected by councillors because of fears that lorries would have to reverse into a busy main road.
Blueprints to demolish an existing two-storey building in Manchester Road and build a single-storey structure, forming two new shops, have been dismissed.
Bolton planners ruled that the scheme would put pedestrians, cyclists and other road users in danger.
