POLICE have implemented four search warrants in Greater Manchester as part of ongoing anti-terror inquiries.
Magistrates on Tuesday night allowed detectives more time to question nine men and one woman held since dawn raids on Monday.
The Home Office has refused to comment on newspaper reports there was a plot to launch suicide bomb attacks.
The latest searches on Wednesday were all in Denton, Tameside.
Manchester United and Manchester City spokesmen have denied speculation their grounds have been specifically targeted although security has been stepped up at Old Trafford.
