A BANDSTAND at Middlebrook could soon become a takeaway.
The bandstand, situated close to the Reebok Stadium, is rarely used for music and owners Orbit Investments have applied for planning permission to convert it.
The exact use has not been specified, but the exterior of the 97 square metre stand would not be altered. Suggestions include a sandwich shop or small takeaway.
Horwich town councillors are in favour of the proposal.
