FLORENT Laville and Ricardo Gardner could still figure in the Premiership this season, despite putting their comeback plans on hold.
The Wanderers duo, both fit again after long injury lay-offs, had been pencilled in for a game in the reserves at Middlesbrough on Wednesday night but were excluded from the squad.
"It was just a bit too early," said assistant manager Phil Brown. "But we are still hopeful that they could figure in the first team before the end of the season."
Henrik Pedersen's hopes of an international recall were dashed when he was omitted from the Denmark squad for the friendly against Scotland.
