More path news from the Lake District. A new 500m section of bridleway has opened alongside the A593 running between Coniston and Ambleside.
The new woodland path allows walkers, riders and cyclists to avoid a section of road walking north-east of Coniston village and provides a useful link to the bridleway network around Tilbertwaite and Little Langdale.
