BOLTON Council is to play a leading role at a national conference looking at creative industry.
Tony Hughes, special projects manager in the local authority's education and culture department, will be speaking to developers from around the world about Breightmet Arts and how it has made a difference to the local community. He will be alongside speakers from the UK, Canada, Mexico, Japan, New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Brisbane and Ghana at Creative Clusters 2004, at the Brighton event, at the end of April. It will examine how local communities are harnessing the economic and cultural power of entertainment, media and design to transform their economies.
