A HELPLINE has been set up to help people "go green".
Salford's Red Rose Forest has set up the telephone number for people to get information, contacts and advice on evironmental issues.
Throughout April and May, they can call for a wide range of information and contacts about all things "green" in Greater Manchester include how to transform grot spots or become a green volunteer.
The Helpline is part of a national project in partnership with Cabe Space, the London-based regeneration agency.
The helpline (0161 872 0901) will be open between 11am and 3pm until Friday, May 14.
