LIVERPOOL city centre workers who normally park for free in the King's Dock, had to start paying from Monday morning.
It will cost up to £6 for a day, but it will be free after drivers after 6pm.
English Partnerships, who own the dock, will use the cash raised to maintain the area ahead of future development including a concert arena.
