Spennymoor v Radcliffe: RADCLIFFE Borough hope to have Josh Mitten back in their attack on Saturday as they make a final push for the Unibond League play-offs.

Mitten has returned to training following a knee injury as Borough go looking for the one Premier Division point they need to ensure their play-off place.

Borough's hopes of reaching the Conference Two North next season suffered a knock back when they lost 2-1 at home to Ashton on Easter Monday.

Manager Kevin Glendon believes a lack of confidence has affected his players.

"Against Ashton we carried too many players, at least five. That's half a team.

"Confidence is sapped when you miss a goal, or you don't keep hold of the ball, you get disheartened.

"It shouldn't happen but it is human nature.

"If you don't have confidence in your team-mates you don't open up your lungs to chase balls you know you're not going to get, because you're wasting running energy, and you know the ball is probably going to come back when your opponents attack."
