A BUS passenger was punched in the nose by another passenger because of a family feud, a court heard.
Andrew Mark Fields, aged 42, of Broad Oak Lane, Bury, admitted assaulting Matthew Ward causing actual bodily harm. But because prosecution and defence versions differed, magistrates adjourned the case for a special hearing on June 14.
Mr Ward, aged 19, had got on the bus in Bell Lane, Bury. Fields, who was on it, approached him and punched him. Fields said Mr Ward had spat at him.
Stanley Sumara, defending, said bitter feeling between two families had led to the incident.
