VISITORS to Bolton's parks will be serenaded by some of area's finest brass bands on spring and summer Sundays.
A programme of free concerts has been arranged by Bolton council's events team following the success of concerts held last year.
The dates are: May 9, Moss Bank Park, Farnworth & Walkden Band; May 23, Queens Park, Tyldesley Brass Band; June 6, Central Park, Westhoughton, Bourban St Roof Raisers; June 20, Gardens of Remembrance, Horwich, Rivington & Adlington Band; July 18, Parish Church, Bolton, Golborne Brass Band; August 1, Central Park, Farnworth, Hoover Band; August 15, Moss Bank Park, Haydock Youth Band; September 12, Moss Bank Park, Mossley Brass Band.
The concerts will start at 2pm and finish at 4pm.
Stuart White, of the events team, said: "The crowds were very good for the events last year and we're pleased to be bringing the concerts back for a second year."
