A WOMAN accused of child cruelty and assault appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday.
Tina McDonald, of Stout Street, Leigh, pleaded not guilty to ill-treating a 10-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury. She also denied assaulting the two children causing actual bodily harm. McDonald, aged 27, was remanded on bail until June 21.
