A LEIGH man accused of attempting to rape a 14-year-old girl appeared for the first time at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday.
Terry Pemberton, of Liza Street, is alleged to have twice attempted to rape the girl and he also faces two offences of indecently assaulting her.
Pemberton, aged 43, was remanded on bail until June 14 when he is expected to enter his pleas.
