A COMMUNITY fun and environment day is being held on Hatfield Park, Bolton, on Friday, April 23.
It is being organised by the Oxford Grove Area Residents Group in partnership with the UCAN Centre which is also on Hatfield Road.
Starting at 2pm, there will be something for everyone.
For the children there will be face painting, henna painting, a treasure hunt and trick performing dogs.
A number of agencies will be attending to provide advice to residents including Greater Manchester County Fire Service, Police, Bolton Wildlife Trust, the Burglary Reduction team, the council's dog wardens and local councillors.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton Cllr Cliff Morris and his wife, Doreen, will be speical guests along with Bolton Wanderers very own mascot "Lofty the Lion".
As part of the Environment Day, the After 5's Kids Club will be conducting a litter pick to tidy up their area.
There will be also music and a raffle on the day with fantastic prizes donated from local businesses.
