A CHIP pan fire damaged a house in Farnworth last night after it was left unattended.
Fire crews were called to Gower Street at 6.30pm after the pan caught fire on a hob in the kitchen of the house.
Two people managed to get out of the house before firefighters arrived. The kitchen was damaged by flames and fire.
