THREE men appeared before Salford Magistrates after a 32-year-old man died after falling from his flat on the 13th floor of a tower block in Salford.

Police were called to Islington Way shortly before 9am on Sunday and found the man lying on the ground.

He was taken to Hope Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Neil Jones, aged 23, of Weaste Avenue, Salford, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life, Warren Marsh, aged 27, has been charged with affray and 22-year-old Christopher Sykes (both of Canon Hussey Court) has been charged with affray and arson with intent to endanger life.
