A BOLTON family fear their pet rabbits have been stolen to be used for dog baiting.
Thieves sneaked into the garden of six-year-old Alicia Kay, moved aside a heavy rabbit run and grabbed the two pets from their hutch.
Heartbroken Alicia, of Almond Street, Astley Bridge, found the hutch empty on Saturday morning with the rabbits, Fluffy and Delilah, gone.
Alicia's parents Wayne Kay and Gillian Ramsden say they are devastated. They have had Fluffy, a lion head rabbit since September and last month they added Delilah.
"We loved them to bits," said Wayne.
"We are worried what could have happened to them. We have been told rabbits have been taken for dog baiting before," added Gillian.
"It is very upsetting."
Anyone with any information about the missing rabbits can contact the family, who are offering a reward, on Bolton 400470.
