CHURCHES across Bolton are getting together over the summer to work with local communities to help make a difference.
Bolton 'A' Live is a nine-day event taking place from Thursday, July 15, to Saturday, July 24, involving young people from churches in community projects. The Rev Keith Garner, Bolton and Rochdale Methodist District chairman, said: "This is an excellent opportunity for the churches to engage with the community in very practical ways."
Projects proposed include cleaning up parks, removing graffiti, young people helping in residential care homes and the running of holiday clubs.
