Seeing "plain" girls transformed into "beauties" has got to fascinate men and women equally.
But the implication that the females involved will live happily ever after because they have a new nose, whiter teeth, uplifted boobs and a taut middle is misleading.
If it's not a misnomer, the whole thing gives greater depth to the word "shallow."
