ARTWORK produced by local schoolchildren as part of the 2003 Food Hygiene Campaign is currently on display at Bolton Museum.
The Food Hygiene Campaign was a joint initiative between Bolton Council's Food Control Unit and Bolton Primary Care Trust.
The aim was to drive home the message about good hygiene practices.
relating to the preparation and serving of food and also to stress the importance of eating healthily.
Primary age children were asked to design a logo to go on a schools resource pack and older children carried out a research project and presented their findings in poster format. These are now on display at the museum until April 3.
Cllr Guy Harkin, executive member for environment said: "A lot of hard work went into producing this artwork and they contained some really good ideas and messages. We felt that they deserved to be seen by a wider audience and we hope that the public will take the time to have a look at them."
