I SEE we will now have a team of litter wardens (Environmental Enforcement officers), backed by police officers, from next month patrolling the towns of the borough.

Are the ratepayers paying for these new jobs and the police salaries?

Also, it is an offence to serve under-age people with cigarettes, alcohol and fireworks but, when shopkeepers are found out, why do have they to be "warned"? Why are they not prosecuted and their names published in the newspaper? If they were, parents and the public would not patronise their establishments.
