LEIGH RMI's recent improvement in form will be under the spotlight tonight when their clash at Shrewsbury is shown on Sky TV.

The Conference minnows are struggling in the relegation zone, but hope to give their confidence levels another boost with a second successive win at Gay Meadow.

They face a tough task, however, against a side who are one of the favourites for a play-off spot.

"It is good for the club to be on TV and we hope to do ourselves justice," said manager Phil Starbuck. "It is a fantastic opportunity for us to get a win and move level with Farnborough. We can then set our sights on Tamworth."

Starbuck is without the banned Carl Rezai and Steve Redmond, but has Wayne Maden and Warren Peyton available after suspension. Defender Paul Shepherd is very doubtful with a leg injury, while Steve Gunby willo have a late test on a knee problem.

RMI will have a new face in goal after Wigan Athletic agreed to allow promising youngster James Salisbury to move to the Railwaymen on a month's loan. Regular keeper Ian Martin is unavailable for the game, and with Gary Kelly still injured, the 19-year-old will go straight into the team.

Meanwhile the busy movement of players in and out at Hilton Park continued, as Starbuck looks to improve his squad, when Carl Barrowclough signed permanently for Hyde.
