Pioneer Sunday League: FARNWORTH Social Circle moved back to the top of Division One after a 5-1 away victory against Sharples.
Les Moore was the hero for Farnworth with a hat trick, while Tim Barrow also found the net, but the goal of the day went to Settle with a 45 yard drive.
Hulton Lane B and Horwich St Mary's played out a seven goal thriller which Hulton won 4-3. Gregory was on target with a hat-trick and Torkington with one. Horwich replied with goals from Peszel, Inman and Freeman.
Great Lever returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Schooner.
In the Josey White Trophy, Railway moved into the quarter-final after a 6-1 victory over Prince Rupert, with goals from Duncan, Bingham, Pender, Pritchard and two by Vasaya.
Hulton Lane A moved into the semi-final after a 7-3 victory over Royal Hotel, with goals from Rice 2, Cover 2, G Cunniff 2 and V Cunniff.
Astley Miners had a 5-1 away victory against White Horse and have now moved into the next stage. Hornby scored a hat-trick with Price and Lennon on target for Miners.
