RESIDENTS are being encouraged to make a will and raise money for a local charity.
Bolton Co-op Funeral Home and Farnworth Co-op Funeral Home are backing St Ann's Hospice Will Week, which runs from Monday, March 15, to Friday, March 19.
St Ann's Hospice aims to improve the quality of life of people living with life-threatening illnesses in Greater Manchester, while supporting their families and carers.
As an independent charity, all care is provided free of charge, meaning that St Ann's needs to raise £5m to offer its wide range of services each year.
The annual scheme, which is supported by local solicitors, offers people a free standard will making service in return for a donation to the Hospice.
