ELVIS fans flocked to Manchester's Palace Theatre for the opening of the 1950s rock 'n' roll musical Jailhouse Rock.
Based on Elvis Presley's classic 1957 film, the show tells the story of Vince Everett, a young man from the wrong side of the tracks who discovers his own musical talent while doing time in prison.
He emerges to become the world's greatest rock 'n' roll star, only to discover he is not ready for the pressures of money and fame.
The show stars rock 'n' roll royalty in the form of Elvis's cousin Donna Presley. Mario Kombou, who made his West End debut in the show, takes the role of the talented Everett.
The pair are pictured in Manchester with a 1954 Cadillac Continental. It features in the show, which runs until March 20.
