work has started on the resurfacing of two Horwich car parks.
The smaller car park at Captain Street, off Winter Hey Lane, is already out of action and the bigger site will follow as work takes place to resurface and reline both car parks.
Funding for the refurbishment is coming from the District Centres Improvement Fund (DCIF), a £25,000 grant awarded to Horwich Town Council by Bolton Council.
Work is expected to take eight weeks to complete.
