I HAVE just finished reading the Bolton Evening News of Thursday, March 4, and feel that I would like to voice my opinion on the article regarding Our Lady of Lourdes RC Primary School, Farnworth.
I have a nine-year-old daughter who attends this school and I am very pleased with the education she is receiving. My daughter moved to this school about 12 months ago when we moved into the area.
Our Lady of Lourdes has given my daughter and myself all the help we have asked for regarding extra tuition, which I feel she badly needed when she first arrived at this school.
Her previous school wasn't interested. When I asked could she have any extra help, they said she didn't need it.
After the first couple of weeks my daughter experienced bullying, which she had not come across at her previous school. I approached the teacher and the bullying stopped the very same week.
No matter which school you go to in Bolton, or any other area, I think you can always find room for improvement and my daughter is very happy in this school and has come on leaps and bounds since we moved.
