SAM Allardyce sees what he wants to see. He claims referee Mike Riley robbed Bolton of the Carling Cup by two errors.

Bolton played well and had us Boro supporters scared stiff until the last. But this sort of talk robs us of our moment of glory and is in bad taste.

Riley made two mistakes. One was in failing to give Boro a penalty when Hunt pulled back Joseph Job.

This foul was demonstrated by the TV replay, and as the last man, Hunt would have been dismissed.

The other was failing to book Campo for a deliberate attempt to gain a free kick outside our penalty area.

Riley spotted the clumsy dive and gave us a free kick but, because Campo had already been booked, he did not book him again.

Come on Sam, losing is hard. We know that at Boro.

We won because we had the better defence and Bolton need to strengthen in this department.
