I CANNOT agree with Sam Allardyce that Boro were the better team. If that was so, why was 70 per cent of the game played in the Boro half, and why did Jussi have only one save to make while the Boro keeper made four outstanding saves?
Sadly, Jay-Jay did not raise his game enough, and Stelios and Moreno needed to come on with half an hour left.
Our two outstanding players were Kevin Davies and Ivan Campo. The others worked hard throughout but did not show enough class on the day, apart from Youri.
