CHILDREN are enjoying reading in their new revamped school library that has been created thanks to the hard work of parents and staff.
The Parent Teacher and Friends Association at Ladybridge Primary School raised more than £1,000 for a new infant library to be developed at the Broadford Road school.
Staff gave up their free time to paint the walls with pictures from fairy tales and story books in a bid to inspire youngsters to pick up a book.
Comfy rugs and seats have also been put in the new library to make it even more inviting.
School secretary Lesley Cosgrove said: "The children absolutely love it.
"It's a lovely little area."
