A 44-year-old Bolton man has fallen to his death in the Lake District while out walking.
The man was walking through the Helvellyn on Friday with his brother when the pair became separated in the mist.
A team of 52 mountain rescuers, from Patterdale, Keswick and Penrith, and 10 seach dogs searched the area around Striding Edge for the man.
He was found on the face of Helvellyn after suffering a fatal fall.
