SO, here we are again. Another big game has come and gone and dear old Jay-Jay has touted himself on television for a pay rise or a transfer.
Am I the only one who thinks that he is a player who repays his big wages by being occasionally inspirational but who has not scored a league goal this season?
He has produced very few assists and was missing for an African tournament when we played very well and still won games.
Every time he plays well, such as against Tottenham and Aston Villa, he talks about a big money rise or a move to a big club.
These clubs have all had ample opportunity to buy him and declined the offer.
The last thing you want after losing at Cardiff is for your captain to bleat on TV.
He never mentions the feelings of supporters who were not asleep for the first six minutes of the final.
Let him go and spread the money around.
The likes of Davies, Nolan, Hunt, Campo, Frandsen appear to appreciate our club more than our captain does.
