STELIOS Giannakopoulos reflected on Wanderers' nightmare Carling Cup Final start by admitting: "We started like we had been hypnotised!"
But the Greek international, who won seven league titles with Olympiakos, says the Final eclipsed anything he has experienced before.
"Everything that happened, before during and after the game was a different world to Greek football," he told Greek radio. "The fans really enjoyed the final and so did I."
His only regret was that he did not have longer to make an impact after replacing Nicky Hunt in the 87th minute. "I thought I could maybe have come off the bench earlier, perhaps instead of Javi Moreno," Stelios added. "I have scored a few more goals than the Spaniard in English football and have had more time to adapt."
