AN airforce man who crashed his car into a telephone box was nearly three times over the legal alcohol level, a court heard.
Lee Patrick Sawdon, aged 22, of Mostyn Avenue, Bury, who is an avionics technician with the RAF at Cosford, admitted a charge of driving in Walmersley Road with excess alcohol.
He was banned from driving for two years and fined £240 with £45 court costs to pay.
