MOTORISTS are being warned of the risks of leaving their cars running while they are defrosting, after ice bandits struck in the Prestwich area.
Thieves targeted two cars which were left unattended with the keys in the ignition.
A £12,000 Jaguar was stolen from a driveway and has not yet been recovered.
A second vehicle was recovered when the owner disturbed the thieves in the process of stealing it.
