IF you would like to see real rubbish and the after effects, visit Halliwell - especially the back streets around Berther and Bride Street.
Yesterday, while walking my dog, in the space of 10 minutes I saw a sofa, chair, microwave, pile of used clothing, a tent, trolley - all that was missing was a cuddly toy.
Take a reporter and photographer round the back streets and you will be disgusted at what people throw out. I have seen rats rummaging in the garbage!
