ONE of the best kept estates in the Bolton/Farnworth area must be Harper Green, commonly known as the flower estate.
Could I send a message to Noel Spencer regarding non-funding of our estate. We have no central heating, winter approaches and already we feel the cold.
The flowers are wilting, Mr Spencer, soon a few will die. Why, when we are desperate for modernisation, are we left in the cold? In many ways the warmth and friendliness of the people, not to mention how well the properties are so well looked after, make it an attractive place to live -- but only in summer.
Come on, Mr Spencer, we pay our rents and rates. Don't ignore this plea. We deserve a place in the queue.
