FIFTEEN young people from Europe and Africa joined members of The Rotary Club of Bolton were taken sailing and canoeing at High Rid Reservoir.
The group -- part of an annual Rotary invitation to young students from abroad -- included a series of supervised activity events.
This year 15 young people from Europe and Africa joined members of The Rotary Club of Bolton to meet the Mayor, Cllr Cliff Morris, and his staff in the Mayor's Parlour and were then given a comprehensive tour of the Town Hall and museums.
In the afternoon, a visit to the water activity centre at High Rid Reservoir followed where they were instructed in water safety equipment and invited to put their new skills to the test.
