THERE was no chance of lollipop lady Dorothy Kenworthy being starstruck when she met Big Brother celebrity Jade Goody at an awards ceremony.
Millions of viewers may have been entertained by Jade's antics in the televised house last year, but Mrs Kenworthy, who was at London's plush Savoy Hotel for the finals of a competition to find the country's best lollipop person, was definitely not one of them.
The Breightmet mother said: "I didn't know who she was because I don't watch Big Brother.
"It's not my sort of thing. I was calling her Jane all day because I had no idea who she was."
And daughter Kate, aged 18, was no help.
She did not recognise Jade, there to present prizes to all 11 finalists, either.
