CHORLEY Athletic Club members won four medals including two golds at Blackpool in the Mid Lancs Track and Field Medal meeting.

Elouise Manger threw the javelin 34.57metres winning the senior Womens gold medal by ten metres. In the Senior Womens 800m Vick Snape came home to victory in a time of 2.24.1.

Kelly Hilton received two medals, a silver in the U17 women's high jump by clearing 1.50 metres, missing the gold only on countback, and the bronze medal in the 200m.

She also just missed out on a medal in the 100m sprint finishing in fourth place.

Craig Brown just missed out on a medal finishing in fourth place in his first ever javelin competition and also ran in the 100m and the 400m.

Rachel Good finished fourth in her 100m heat and also Michael Chum competed well in the 100 and 200 metres.
